| Variable Name: | AHBLCGICHECK | Default Value: | no |

| Other Values: | yes. | ||
The AHBLCGICHECK variable controls whether the SpamBouncer checks the AHBL blocklist for IPs that host insecure web forms or other CGI scripts that can be abused to send spam.
Many web sites use common gateway interface (CGI) scripts to create dynamic content -- content that varies depending on when it is sent or who has requested it. Some of these scripts are used to send email, normally to the web site administrators. Many CGI scripts used to send email are insecure, and spammers can abuse them to send email to anyone, not just to the web site administrator.
For more information about the AHBL blocklist, see the AHBL listing on the SpamBouncer's Supported Blocklists page.
