The AHBLDOMAINCHECK variable controls whether the SpamBouncer checks the AHBL blocklist for domains owned or controlled by spammers.
A great deal of spam is sent from servers in domains that spammers own, and even more has URLs or email addresses in the message body that contain domains that spammers own. Legitimate email rarely comes from or contains references to a spammer's domain. (With the obvious exception of email about spam and spammers, of course.)
